If you are fed up with the tourist trap on the Leopoldstraße in Munich, where prices are on the exorbitant side, you only need to head off into a side street to be rewarded with a convivial atmosphere, good food and reasonable prices. It even has a small, concealed garden with an idyllic charm of its own where there won’t be exhaust fumes spoiling the taste...
Noor Jahan in Kaiserstraße is a real gem. Well hidden off the beaten track with a rather unspectacular entrance and a garden located behind the house, the restaurant doesn’t look anything special. Inside, you will discover cosiness enhanced by a few Indian accessories. In the summer, however, the best spot is certainly in the garden, where you can enjoy an absolutely holiday-like atmosphere.
